break out the ruby slippers

Sorry to be going on so much about being back home in Yellowknife, but this has been a really good week. It's surprising how much Yellowknife feels like home. Every day I run into a few more people I haven't seen in nine months, and it's good to see them again. It's also nice seeing people excited that I'm back.

It'll be five years in the North for me, and I'm really surprised how it really has become home.

Those who said "you can never go home again" never lived in the North, and are certainly not "friends of dorothy".
